A24 releases teaser for Jeremy Saulnier horror film Slayground
A24 has officially launched the marketing campaign for Slayground, a new horror-action thriller directed by Jeremy Saulnier. The studio released a teaser trailer and a viral website, runlikehell.com, which features grainy surveillance-style footage of a haunted house attraction.
Previously known as October, the film stars Cory Michael Smith. While an official synopsis has not been released, reports suggest the plot may involve Smith’s character, a worker at the attraction, attempting to clear his name after being accused of mass murder. The cast also includes Chase Sui Wonders, Sophie Wilde, Young Mazino, Stephen Root, James Badge Dale, Matty Matheson, Stanley Simons, and Imogen Poots.
A digital countdown on the promotional website points to October 20, 2026, though an official release date for the film has not yet been confirmed.
