A24 to re-release ‘Moonlight’ in 4K for 10th anniversary

A24 will release a 4K remastered cut of the film ‘Moonlight’ on October 2 to celebrate its tenth anniversary. The announcement was made by director and co-writer Barry Jenkins during a special screening at the Telluride Film Festival.

The 2017 Academy Award winner for Best Picture follows a young African-American man navigating identity and sexuality. The film also earned Oscars for Best Supporting Actor, awarded to Mahershala Ali, and Best Adapted Screenplay.

The re-release will feature an exclusive conversation involving Jenkins, composer Nicholas Britell, and Mahershala Ali. Tickets are scheduled to go on sale September 9, alongside a limited edition anniversary art print.
