A24 to release Jordan Firstman’s ‘Club Kid’ in November

A24 has announced the theatrical release of ‘Club Kid’, the directorial debut of Jordan Firstman, set for November 6 in select United States cinemas. The film, which Firstman wrote, directed, and stars in, follows a New York City club promoter whose life changes upon discovering he has a ten-year-old son.

Following its premiere in the Un Certain Regard section at the Cannes Film Festival, the film garnered significant attention, including nominations for the Queer Palm and the Caméra d’Or. A24 reportedly acquired the distribution rights following a competitive bidding war for approximately $17 million.

Before its wide release, ‘Club Kid’ is scheduled to screen at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). The cast includes Reggie Absolom, Cara Delevingne, Diego Calva, and Kirby Howell-Baptiste.
