A25 motorway closed near Weißkirchen an der Traun after van crash

A delivery van crashed into the center guardrail on the A25 Welser Autobahn near Weißkirchen an der Traun on Tuesday afternoon. The driver reportedly escaped the accident without injuries.

The collision resulted in a significant oil spill on the wet roadway, necessitating a total closure of the motorway in the direction of Knoten Haid for approximately one hour. The incident caused an eight-kilometer traffic jam, which also impacted the B1 Wiener Straße near Marchtrenk as drivers attempted to bypass the closure.
