A3E Energy Efficiency Awards announce finalists

The Association of Energy Efficiency Companies (A3E) has announced the 15 finalists for the 13th edition of its Energy Efficiency and Sustainability Awards. The winners will be revealed on November 5, 2026, during a gala in Santiago de Compostela, organized alongside the Xunta de Galicia.

Among the finalists is a joint project by Rebi and FICOSA Automotive focused on industrial decarbonization in Soria. This initiative, titled ‘Industrial decarbonization and heat recovery in the Ficosa plant integrated into the Soria Industrial Network’, aims to recover residual heat from production processes to improve thermal efficiency and reduce emissions.

The awards, which received over 50 applications, feature five categories including technological innovation, energy savings, and young talent. Other finalist projects include low-enthalpy geothermal systems for greenhouses, organic Rankine cycle technologies, and energy hybridization for maritime transport.
