A7 motorway pileup in Giovi Tunnel injures two

A three-car pileup occurred in the Giovi Tunnel on the A7 motorway between Bolzaneto and Busalla, heading toward Milan. The accident took place in a section affected by construction work where traffic is restricted to a single lane.

Two people were injured and transported to the Villa Scassi hospital in Genova Sampierdarena in yellow code condition. No serious injuries were reported among the other drivers or passengers. The accident caused significant traffic delays, with queues reaching approximately three kilometers. Traffic was temporarily blocked to allow for vehicle removal but began to normalize after about an hour.
