Travel costs show a divergence between domestic and international routes; domestic round-trip airfares have seen a 2% increase to an average of $750, while international ticket prices have decreased by 4% to approximately $1,240.

Outdoor activities remain a significant draw, with high demand for Alaska cruises and visits to U.S. National Parks. Car rental partner Hertz anticipates September 4 will be the busiest pick-up day, with high demand expected in Denver, Las Vegas, Orlando, Los Angeles, and Boston.
