Aachen and Leuchtenberg hold summer and anniversary festivals in Germany

On July 11, 2026 the K. G. Oecher Spritzemänner celebrated a summer festival on the Schützenwiese of the St. Sebastianus Bogenschützengilde in Aachen. The program opened with a greeting by President Adrian Cordewener, introduced the city’s designated representative Max I, and featured live music by For Fun, Öcher Ötzi and Hans Montag, performances by local groups, a prize ceremony for the “närrisches Strahlrohr”, and other entertainment.

On August 2, 2026 the Männergesangverein Liederkranz in Leuchtenberg marked its 155‑year anniversary with a garden party at the Gemeindezentrum. The event began with the dedication of a commemorative stone at St. Sebastian, offered food and drinks, provided a children’s bounce‑house, and invited cake donations for a communal cake buffet.
