Aachen Equestrian World Championships 2026 sparks new media projects

A series of free YouTube broadcasts titled “Das Pferd. Der Sport. Die Zukunft.” will accompany the 2026 World Equestrian Championships in Aachen. Produced by R‑haltenswert together with the Fair zum Pferd editorial team, the first episode airs on 10 August 2026, just before the opening of the championships. The programme will combine competition highlights with expert analysis on topics such as training, horse welfare, rules, public perception and the future of the sport, and will involve community‑submitted questions.

The August issue of the German equestrian magazine Pferd & Mensch also focuses on the upcoming Aachen championships. The edition covers all six disciplines—dressage, eventing, vaulting, jumping, para‑dressage and driving—provides team line‑ups, insights from national coaches, background stories on veterinarians, a 1‑Euro horse, and preparation tips for riders. A special supplement details the event programme and the German Equestrian Federation’s stand at the venue.
