Aachen hosts World Championships for four-in-hand driving

World Championships four-in-hand driving dressage equestrian sports Aachen

The World Championships for four-in-hand driving, considered the premier class of equestrian driving sports, have commenced in Aachen. Following the horse inspection, all 25 horses from the German contingent were declared fit to compete.

German national coach Karl-Heinz Geiger confirmed the team lineup, which includes Mareike Meier, Christoph Sandmann, and Anna Sandmann. For the individual rankings, Germany will be represented by Rene Poensgen and Georg von Stein. Georg von Stein is scheduled to be the first German starter in the dressage phase on Thursday at 10:30 AM.

The competition schedule begins with dressage tests on Thursday and Friday, leading up to the marathon event on Saturday.
