AADC short film explores Cinta's life 10 years later
A new short film titled ‘Ada Apa dengan Cinta? (AADC): Bahasa Cinta yang Beda’ has been released, set approximately 10 years after the events of ‘Ada Apa dengan Cinta? 2’. The 15-minute production, part of a marketing campaign for Unilever Indonesia, features Dian Sastrowardoyo as Cinta and Sissy Priscillia as Milly.
Notably, the character Rangga, played by Nicholas Saputra, does not appear physically in the short film. This absence was a deliberate creative choice to demonstrate that expressions of love and care can be conveyed through actions and attention even without a direct physical presence. The story explores how the couple's dynamic has evolved through simple, meaningful daily activities.
Nuning Wahyuningsih, Head of Marketing Foods at Unilever Indonesia, stated that the return of the character Rangga in future projects remains a possibility. She indicated that the company would consider bringing the character back if there is significant demand and feedback from the audience.
