AADE automates E9 property declarations in Greece
The Independent Authority for Public Revenue (AADE) is expanding the automation of E9 property declarations in Greece. Under new decisions issued by AADE Governor Giorgos Pitsilis, the National Land Registry Code (KAEEK) will now be automatically populated in E9 forms for taxpayers involved in property transfers, donations, or parental provisions.
This data is retrieved directly from digital declarations previously submitted via the myPROPERTY application. The automation aims to reduce repetitive entries, minimize errors, and provide the tax administration with a more complete overview of transferred properties. The process relies on the Property Identity Number (ATAK) as a key identifier to ensure successful synchronization.
Currently, approximately 60 percent of E9 declarations are completed automatically. The new regulations, specifically decisions A. 1201/2026 and A. 1203/2026, apply to both natural and legal persons. The system integrates data from digital property transfer tax declarations and donation/parental provision tax declarations to streamline the updating of tax databases.
