AAFS Infrastructure and Energy plans 1 billion KM data center in Mostar
American company AAFS Infrastructure and Energy is developing a large-scale data center project in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The investment is estimated to exceed 1 billion KM.
According to Amer Bekan, the director of AAFS in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the project is currently in the development phase. The realization of the data center is closely linked to the development of the South Gas Interconnection, a project aimed at providing new gas supply routes via Croatia.
The facility is expected to be located in the Mostar area and would have a planned capacity of approximately 100 megawatts. Due to the high energy demands of such a facility, the project's progress is tied to the expansion of stable energy and gas infrastructure in the region.
