Čačak construction sector sees growth and high demand

The construction sector in Čačak, Serbia, is experiencing significant growth, with demand for residential building services remaining high for four consecutive years. This surge has led to maximum earnings for local workers, despite a decreasing number of available skilled craftsmen.

Daily wages have risen due to high demand, with master craftsmen earning approximately 100 euros for a ten-hour workday, while assistant workers earn between 50 and 60 euros. The current market trend shows a high interest in single-family, ground-floor houses ranging from 100 to 150 square meters.

While the cost of construction materials has seen slight increases, investors find these changes manageable. Skilled teams are reportedly able to complete the structural phases of a small house, from foundations to roofing, within 20 to 25 days.
