Aalborg hosts diverse cultural events and exhibitions in September

Aalborg is hosting various cultural events throughout September. Highlights include a humorous lecture by Anders Lund Madsen at Musikkens Hus on September 1, and a modern production of ‘Cinderella The Musical’ featuring music by Rasmus Seebach at AKKC from September 2 to 6, 2026.

Additionally, Nordjyske Museer is presenting a local history exhibition titled ‘Den Korte Historie’ at Toldbod Plads. The exhibition, housed in a container, explores the history of Jomfru Ane Gade, which has been a central hub for Aalborg's nightlife since 1967. The display is available until September 8.

Note that the Vestbydagen 2026 event, originally scheduled for September 3, was canceled due to poor weather conditions.
