Aalborg hosts Pink Saturday for breast cancer awareness

Aalborg is hosting ‘Pink Saturday’ on October 3 to raise funds and awareness for breast cancer. The event serves as the culmination of a week-long campaign, which included lighting up the Aalborg Tower in pink.

Local businesses, associations, and volunteers are participating through various activities. Central festivities are centered at Gabels Torv, organized by the local branch of Kræftens Bekæmpelse. The program includes music, guided street art walks, balloon animals for children, and the sale of cupcakes, flowers, and other products to support the cause. Activities are also being held in Hasseris to expand the reach of the fundraising efforts.
