Aalborg University ranked among Europe’s top engineering institutions

Aalborg University (AAU) has been ranked as one of Europe’s top engineering universities according to the latest ‘Best Global Universities for Engineering’ list published by U.S. News & World Report. The university is ranked fourth among all European institutions.

AAU is recognized for its research in fields such as defense technology, cybersecurity, and sustainable energy systems. While the university has maintained a top-three position in Europe for the past eight years, it has moved down one spot in this year’s rankings.

The top three European engineering universities identified in the report are ETH Zurich in Switzerland, Imperial College London in England, and Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands.
