Aam Aadmi Party holds Tiranga Yatra in Delhi to protest flag-related arrests

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) organized a ‘Tiranga Yatra’ in Delhi to protest the arrest of individuals, including Abhijit Dipke, who were reportedly detained for hoisting the Indian national flag at Jantar Mantar.

Led by Delhi AAP President Saurabh Bhardwaj, party workers marched from the party headquarters to Le Meridian, passing near the Rashtrapati Bhavan and Parliament House. AAP leaders, including Arvind Kejriwal and Sanjay Singh, criticized the central government, labeling the arrests as ‘dictatorship.’ Kejriwal questioned whether hoisting the national flag had become a crime, while Singh accused the ruling BJP of having an ideology that is at odds with national symbols.

The party also condemned the alleged use of force against its workers during the marches.
