Aam Aadmi Party launches grassroots outreach in Goa

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has initiated a series of grassroots interactions across Goa, titled ‘AAP Ki Chai’, to promote its six guarantees to local households. The outreach drive involves informal neighborhood gatherings designed to discuss party proposals and address resident concerns regarding the rising cost of living and financial challenges.

A central component of the campaign is the party’s promise of a ₹3,000 monthly guarantee for every woman, without terms and conditions. During meetings held in various constituencies, including Pernem, Mormugao, and Ponda, residents raised issues regarding the implementation of existing welfare schemes.

AAP leaders, including Goa president Valmiki Naik and women’s wing president Mamata Maben, reported that many citizens expressed frustration over delays and difficulties in accessing benefits from current government programs such as Griha Aadhar and Ujjwala Yojana. The party is using these interactions to highlight the financial pressures on families and to present its governance models from Delhi and Punjab as alternatives.
