Aam Aadmi Party leaders condemn Satyendar Jain arrest

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders have condemned the arrest of senior leader and former Delhi Minister Satyendar Jain, alleging that the move is a politically motivated action by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal criticized the government on social media, labeling the arrest as part of a dictatorship and claiming the charges are fraudulent. He stated that the BJP is using central investigative agencies to target opposition leaders because they cannot compete effectively in elections.

Party spokesperson Manish Sisodia and media in-charge Anurag Dhanda also raised concerns, noting that the timing of the arrest coincides with upcoming elections in Punjab, where Jain serves as a co-in-charge. Dhanda argued that the legal basis for the case is illogical, as the alleged incident occurred while Jain was already in custody for a separate matter.
