Aamir Khan in talks to lead Race franchise reboot

Actor Aamir Khan is reportedly in discussions to lead the reboot of the ‘Race’ film franchise. Reports indicate that Khan has expressed interest in the script and is involved in the writing process.

Producer Ramesh Taurani is planning to take the franchise in a new direction with a fresh cast. Khan has reportedly requested that Vijay Krishna Acharya, who previously directed Khan in ‘Dhoom 3’, take over as director. Other actors, including Sidharth Malhotra and Tiger Shroff, have also reportedly expressed interest in the project.

The franchise, which began with Saif Ali Khan, is being reimagined following the third installment. While earlier speculation linked Ranbir Kapoor or a returning Saif Ali Khan to the project, the current discussions focus on Khan potentially becoming the new face of the series.
