Aamir Khan to marry Gauri Spratt in private ceremony

Bollywood actor Aamir Khan will marry longtime partner Gauri Spratt on July 5 in a simple registered ceremony held at home. The event will involve only close family members and a few friends, with no large‑scale celebration.

Khan said he was surprised by the intense media attention surrounding the wedding and urged the public to focus on his and others' professional work rather than personal lives. This will be his third marriage; his previous unions were with Reena Dutta (1986‑2002) and filmmaker Kiran Rao (married 2005, separated 2021). Gauri Spratt, who has a son from a previous relationship, was publicly introduced by Khan during his 60th‑birthday celebrations earlier this year. Both described each other as a “blessing” and expressed happiness about the upcoming commitment.
