Aamir Khan's wedding to Gauri Spratt showcases ruby ring made by 131 artisans and plans for ₹100 crore home

Bollywood actor Aamir Khan married Gauri Spratt in an intimate ceremony on July 5 at Khan’s Bandra residence in Mumbai, attended by close family and friends. The wedding attracted attention for the custom wedding ring given to Spratt, which features a rare natural ruby sourced from Madagascar set in a crown‑inspired gold design. According to QWEEN co‑founder Amit Kumar, the ring incorporates 40 diamonds, a cabochon‑cut ruby and required 256 hours of work by 131 skilled artisans.

Following the ceremony, reports indicate the couple will relocate from their rented unit to a newly purchased luxury apartment complex in Pali Hill valued at over ₹100 crore. The development, described as a “sky villa,” is expected to house Khan’s extended family, including his mother, sons and sisters, with multiple floors allocated for each member. The move is slated for completion around 2030, though Khan has not publicly commented on the plans.
