Aaron Brooks returns to Toros del Este rotation

Pitcher Aaron Brooks is returning to the Toros del Este for his second consecutive season. The move is part of the club's strategy to build a strong starting rotation from the beginning of the season.

Brooks enters the upcoming season following a strong 2025-26 performance where he posted a 3-3 record with a 2.81 ERA across eight games. During those 32 innings, he recorded 27 strikeouts and only 7 walks. His Major League experience includes stints with the Royals, Athletics, Orioles, Cardinals, and the Tampa Bay Rays.

General Manager Jesús Mejía described Brooks as an asset who guarantees quality innings and consistency. He joins a rotation that already includes Aaron Sánchez, Spencer Turnbull, and Carlos Rodríguez. Team training is scheduled to begin on Monday, September 21, at the Estadio Francisco A. Micheli in La Romana.
