Aaron Chia and Soh Wooi Yik reach Denmark Open final

Malaysian men's doubles pair Aaron Chia and Soh Wooi Yik have qualified for the Denmark Open final after defeating the world number one pair, Kim Won Ho and Seo Seung Jae. The match, held at the SJF Bank Arena in Odense, saw the fourth-seeded Malaysians win in straight games with scores of 21-14 and 21-18.

This victory marks a significant milestone for the duo, who are seeking their first World Tour title of the year after several runner-up finishes in major tournaments including the Malaysia Open, the All England, and the World Championships. The win also settles a competitive rivalry; the two pairs have met six times, with their recent encounters being closely contested.

In the final, Chia and Soh will face either the Indonesian pair Fajar Alfian and Shohibul Fikri or the Chinese pair Liang Wei Keng and Wang Chang. The winners of the doubles category will receive US$70,300.
