Aaron Donald involved in legal dispute with ex over child safety

Newly revealed court documents detail a legal dispute between former Los Angeles Rams star Aaron Donald and his former partner, Jaelynn Blakey, regarding the safety of their two children. In filings from late July, Donald sought temporary sole physical custody of his 13-year-old daughter and 10-year-old son, citing concerns over a French bulldog kept by Blakey in Los Angeles.

Donald alleged that the dog had bitten his daughter near the mouth in September 2023 and his son in the face in March 2026. He claimed that although Blakey had previously agreed to find the animal a new home, the dog was returned to her residence without his knowledge.

Blakey has denied these allegations, stating in a court declaration that the dog is not dangerous and that the children are not afraid of it. She characterized Donald’s actions as an attempt to remove a long-term family pet under the guise of child safety.
