Aaron Donald set to return to NFL with Los Angeles Rams

Aaron Donald is expected to return to NFL action this Monday for the Los Angeles Rams in a matchup against the New York Giants at SoFi Stadium. The 35-year-old veteran, a nine-time All-Pro, is returning after a two-year retirement.

Donald confirmed his intention to play, stating, “That’s the plan.” The Rams, led by head coach Sean McVay, are looking to bolster a defense that has faced challenges, including the absence of Myles Garrett due to injury.

The New York Giants are preparing specific game plans to contain the defensive lineman. Giants head coach John Harbaugh described Donald as a “game-wrecking type player” who is capable of disrupting both the run and the pass. The Giants' offensive line, including players like Jon Runyan and Francis Mauigoa, will be tasked with managing Donald's impact on the field.
