Aaron Patrick re-signs with Saskatchewan Roughriders
The Saskatchewan Roughriders have re-signed American defensive lineman Aaron Patrick. The 29-year-old, who stands 6’5” and weighs 250 pounds, had previously been placed on the team’s retired list in May after failing to report to training camp.
Patrick was a key contributor during the 2025 season, appearing in 16 regular-season games and recording seven special teams tackles. He also participated in the playoffs, helping the Roughriders secure the 2025 Grey Cup championship.
Before joining the CFL, Patrick had stints in the NFL with the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Denver Broncos. His collegiate career was spent at Eastern Kentucky University, where he was named the 2019 Ohio Valley Conference Defensive Player of the Year and earned First-Team FCS All-American honors.
