Aaron Pierre linked to James Bond role amid Lanterns success

Actor Aaron Pierre is facing increasing speculation as a potential candidate for the role of James Bond following his performance in the DC series ‘Lanterns’. The discussion gained momentum after actor Henry Winkler publicly endorsed Pierre for the iconic 007 role on social media.

Pierre has described the endorsement as ‘an enormous compliment’, though he has not confirmed any interest in the franchise. His ‘Lanterns’ co-star, Kelly Macdonald, noted that while Pierre could certainly suit the role of Bond, she hopes to see him continue playing John Stewart in the Green Lantern franchise for many years to come.

Pierre is currently part of the DC Universe, with a scheduled return as John Stewart in ‘Man of Tomorrow’ set for 2027.
