Aaron Rodgers and Todd Bowles face off as Steelers visit Buccaneers

The Pittsburgh Steelers (3-2) are set to face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1-4) this Sunday, highlighting a strategic matchup between quarterback Aaron Rodgers and head coach Todd Bowles.

Rodgers, who recently surpassed Peyton Manning for third place in career passing touchdowns including the postseason, has thrown three touchdown passes in three consecutive games. However, he holds a 1-2 record against Bowles’ defenses, including a loss in the 2020 NFC championship game.

Bowles noted the difficulty of game-planning against Rodgers, describing him as an extremely intelligent player with an “unbelievable” football IQ who can dissect plays before they happen. Rodgers acknowledged Bowles' ability to use complex defensive schemes and disguised pressure, stating the Steelers must be prepared to get the ball out quickly.
