Aaron Rodgers addresses past relationships and criticizes ESPN
Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has made several controversial statements during an appearance on the ‘Not Just Football’ podcast with teammate Cam Heyward. Rodgers addressed his past personal relationships, specifically disputing claims made by former partner Danica Patrick. While Patrick previously characterized their 2020 breakup as ‘emotionally abusive,’ Rodgers claimed the relationship had lost intimacy and that Patrick was struggling with depression following her retirement from racing.
Rodgers also commented on his former engagement to actress Shailene Woodley, alleging she expressed a desire to be with someone else shortly after their engagement.
In addition to personal matters, Rodgers criticized ESPN, calling the organization ‘gutless’ for its perceived lack of coverage regarding an alleged scandal involving NFL insider Dianna Russini and coach Mike Vrabel. He contrasted this with the network’s heavy coverage of other NFL-related news. Rodgers also expressed distrust in American politics, criticizing both major parties and mentioning the lack of transparency regarding the Epstein files.
