Aaron Rodgers to Play Preseason Games for Pittsburgh Steelers

Quarterback Aaron Rodgers confirmed that head coach Mike McCarthy wants him to appear in two Pittsburgh Steelers preseason contests – against the Green Bay Packers on August 13 and the New York Jets on August 21. Rodgers said he will suit up if asked, noting the opportunity to throw 30‑40 plays in each game.

The veteran, 42, recently disclosed that he was battling flu‑like symptoms, including fever and vomiting, before the Steelers’ playoff loss to the Houston Texans, which ended with a pick‑six.
