Aaron Rodgers stated he is uncertain whether he would accept post-career honors or a jersey retirement ceremony from the Green Bay Packers. Speaking in an ESPN Milwaukee radio interview, Rodgers noted that while he expects fans to maintain appreciation for his career in the future, he is unsure if he would be willing to participate if certain individuals remain in leadership roles within the organization.

Rodgers reflected on his departure from Green Bay, admitting there were aspects of the split he could have “handled better.” He expressed dissatisfaction with how the team managed his exit, specifically noting his disagreement with the decision to draft Jordan Love in the 2020 NFL Draft while he was the established starter. He suggested that the decision by General Manager Brian Gutekunst to move on was inevitable following a non-MVP season.
