Aaron Thiara teases emotional twist for EastEnders character Ravi Gulati

Actor Aaron Thiara has teased an upcoming emotional shift for his EastEnders character, Ravi Gulati, regarding a paternity storyline. While Ravi believes he is the father of Priya Nandra-Hart’s unborn child, a DNA test has revealed that Max Branning is the biological father.

Speaking at the National Television Awards 2026, Thiara suggested that instead of Ravi’s typical impulsive or violent reactions, the character may display more vulnerability and heartbreak when the truth is revealed. Co-star James Farrar, who plays Zack Hudson, praised Thiara’s portrayal of the character, noting that the complexity and contradictions in Ravi’s personality make him an interesting figure to watch.
