Aave DAO considers V4 risk control delegation and V3 parameter updates

Aave DAO is currently evaluating a governance proposal regarding Aave V4 that would delegate specific risk controls on Ethereum and Avalanche to Risk Stewards. This move aims to allow approved operators to implement constrained updates without requiring a full governance vote for every change. The proposal includes the assignment of emergency roles that would remain inactive until future software releases support them, allowing for faster responses to future crises.

Separately, LlamaRisk has proposed several parameter adjustments for Aave V3 to address liquidity and utilization trends. The recommendations include increasing supply and borrow caps for assets such as USDC, GHO, wstETH, and USDT on various deployments including Core, Monad, and Avalanche. Conversely, the plan suggests reducing supply caps for underutilized assets like syrupUSDC and USDe to better align with current demand.
