Aavin management denies reports of production halts for dairy products

Aavin management has issued a statement denying reports that the production of over 100 dairy products has been halted. The organization clarified that production of items including ghee, butter, paneer, and cookies continues as usual and is being distributed to various outlets and retail agents.

In response to claims that production had ceased, the management stated that the information is entirely untrue. They emphasized that they are working to meet consumer demand, particularly with special sweets being prepared for the upcoming Diwali festival. Distribution is being managed based on demand forecasts provided by sales agents to ensure uninterrupted supply.

These denials follow criticisms from PMK leader Anbumani Ramadoss, who had expressed concern over a potential reduction in the production of products such as milk powder, milkshakes, and chocolates. Ramadoss had also highlighted fluctuations in daily milk procurement levels and called for a government expert committee to investigate the cooperative's financial and administrative status.
