In Sasso di Roccarainola, abandoned buildings in Piazza Giovanni Miele have become breeding grounds for rats, snakes, and pigeons. Residents report persistent odors, debris, and animal excrement, noting that the ruins have suffered seismic damage and sit along a frequently used pedestrian path. Despite multiple reports to the local municipality, residents claim no definitive solution has been provided, prompting a formal request for inspection from ASL Napoli 3 Sud.

Similarly, in Pizzighettone, a dilapidated farmhouse on via Virgilio has residents fearing structural collapse. The site features a broken roof, crumbling walls, and the presence of asbestos. Local spokesperson Carmen De Leo highlighted concerns regarding waste, dead animals, and the lack of safety fencing near a path used by children and pedestrians. Residents report a bureaucratic impasse, with the municipality and Ats Val Padana disputing responsibility for the site's remediation.
