Abandoned cattle herd causes distress in Aia Cupa, Italy

In the rural locality of Aia Cupa, within the municipality of Sassoferrato, a herd of 32 cows has been left abandoned for approximately six months. The situation arose after persistent drought dried up a natural spring on the owner's property, leaving the animals without water and unable to be cared for by the owner.

Residents report that the cattle have wandered into inhabited areas in search of water, causing significant hygiene issues and unpleasant odors.
