ABB invests in LevelTen Energy to expand clean energy services

ABB has entered into a strategic partnership and made a minority investment in LevelTen Energy, a major marketplace for clean energy transactions. While the financial terms of the investment were not disclosed, the move is intended to expand ABB’s energy and carbon advisory services.

LevelTen Energy facilitates clean energy transactions, including power purchase agreements (PPAs), energy storage agreements, and energy attribute certificates. The platform has managed over 20 GW of transactions across more than 35 markets in North America and Europe.

The collaboration aims to assist commercial and industrial customers in navigating the complexities of securing long-term, affordable clean electricity. By combining ABB’s expertise in electrification and digital energy management with LevelTen’s procurement platform, the companies intend to help businesses manage decarbonization goals, energy costs, and operational reliability.
