ABB invests in LevelTen Energy to expand clean energy services

ABB has entered into a strategic partnership and made a minority investment in LevelTen Energy, a U.S.-based marketplace specializing in clean energy transactions, including Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs).

LevelTen Energy has facilitated over 20 GW of clean energy transactions across more than 35 markets in North America and Europe, serving hyperscalers, utilities, and industrial companies. The collaboration aims to enhance ABB’s energy and carbon (E&C) advisory services by integrating its expertise in electrification and digital solutions with LevelTen’s marketplace platform.

While financial details of the investment were not disclosed, the move addresses the growing corporate demand for scalable, long-term renewable energy solutions to meet decarbonization goals. Since 2021, ABB Electrification Ventures has invested more than $110 million in 18 different startups.
