Abbasanta to host CSI 3* international show jumping competition

The CSI 3* international show jumping competition, part of the Sardegna Jumping Tour, is scheduled to take place from September 16 to 20 at the Asvi facility in Tanca Regia, Abbasanta. Organized by the Agency for the Development and Valorization of Horse Racing (Asvi) of the Sardinia Region, the event features a total prize pool of 186,700 euros.

The competition will host international riders from Argentina, Canada, the USA, England, France, Switzerland, and Latvia. Notable participants include Argentine Olympian José Maria Larocca, as well as Italian athletes Bruno Chimirri, Elisa Chimirri, Giacomo Bassi, Emilio Bicocchi, and Lorenzo Correddu.

In addition to elite competition, the event promotes regional breeding through the Trofeo Asvi, which focuses on horses born and raised in Sardinia. The tour aims to integrate high-level sport with territorial promotion and sports tourism.
