Abbazia di Roti restoration tender launched in Matelica

The Unione montana Potenza Esino Musone has launched a tender for the restoration of the Abbazia di Roti, a medieval complex located in the Braccano district of Matelica. The project, owned by the Marche Region, aims to reopen the site following damage sustained during the earthquakes of 2016 and 2017.

The tender is valued at approximately 2.56 million euros, part of a larger 3.5 million euro funding package for the first functional phase. The works will focus on seismic improvement and structural safety, including the consolidation of walls and foundations, roof and floor repairs, and the restoration of damaged sections. Additionally, the project includes the arrangement of external spaces and visitor paths to facilitate public access.
