Abbotsford Canucks reach first in Pacific Division

The Abbotsford Canucks have extended their winning streak to five games, moving into first place in the Pacific Division following a successful home stand. The team secured consecutive victories against the Calgary Wranglers on October 24 and 25.

On Saturday, the Canucks overcame a second-period power play goal by Calgary’s Rory Kerins with a three-goal third period. Sawyer Mynio, Ty Mueller, and Cole Clayton provided the scoring, supported by goaltender Nikita Tolopilo, who stopped 21 of 22 shots.

On Sunday, forward Jacob Quillan recorded his second career AHL hat trick to lead the team to a 4-2 win. Quillan, who was recently acquired in a trade from the Toronto Maple Leafs organization, has recorded six points in his first four games with Abbotsford.
