Abbotsford toddler reaches Baby of the Year quarter-finals

Arzoi, a two-year-old from Abbotsford, has advanced to the quarter-finals of the 2026 Baby of the Year contest. Her mother, Gurleen Sekhon, noted that Arzoi progressed from 39th place in her original group to win her division.

The competition features a voting process where individuals can cast one free vote every 24 hours, while additional votes can be obtained through donations. All proceeds from the contest benefit Baby2Baby, a foundation that provides essential items to over a million children annually. To date, the competition has contributed more than $45 million to the organization.

The grand prize for the winner includes $25,000, a feature in Variety Magazine, and a national advertising campaign.
