AbbVie launches second ‘Crohnostorie’ campaign for Crohn's disease awareness

AbbVie has launched the second edition of the ‘Crohnostorie – Storie di vita senza confini’ campaign in collaboration with AMICI Italia ETS and IG-IBD. The initiative aims to raise public awareness regarding Crohn's disease and its impact on daily life, while providing patients with educational tools to actively manage their health.

The campaign features a two-minute video depicting the emotional experience of living with the condition. In Italy, approximately 250,000 people live with inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD), including 150,000 with Crohn's disease and 100,000 with ulcerative colitis. Crohn's disease is a chronic condition that can affect any part of the gastrointestinal tract, often diagnosed between the ages of 20 and 30, and is characterized by alternating periods of remission and flare-ups.
