Abby Lee Miller addresses student feuds and retracts malpractice claims

Abby Lee Miller, the founder of the Abby Lee Dance Company and star of ‘Dance Moms’, has addressed several personal and legal disputes. In an interview, Miller responded to claims made by former student Maddie Ziegler regarding a ‘toxic environment’ during their time on the reality show. Miller disputed these claims, suggesting Ziegler was a perfectionist who wanted to win, and noted she provided support to Ziegler during her parents’ divorce in 2011.

Separately, Miller has retracted claims in a medical malpractice lawsuit. She admitted to misidentifying doctors Dr. Hooman Melamed and Dr. Paul Dwan in relation to an incident involving a catheter left in her body following surgery. Miller has issued an apology, and her statement clarifies that the doctors were not responsible for the alleged incident. Both parties have agreed to resolve the matter.
