Abby Lee Miller announces new reality projects and TV cameo

Dance instructor and former ‘Dance Moms’ star Abby Lee Miller is expanding her television presence through a new cameo on Bravo’s ‘The Real Housewives of Rhode Island’ and a new competition series.

In her appearance on ‘The Real Housewives of Rhode Island’, Miller taught a dance solo to Celina, the daughter of Alicia Carmody. During her time in Rhode Island, Miller also conducted a dance class and a question-and-answer session at Bryant University.

Additionally, Miller is partnering with Cathy Nesbitt-Stein for a new mobile-first reality series titled ‘Abby vs. Cathy: Hit the 8’. Debuting on the ShortVydz streaming platform, the show features the two former rivals serving on a judging panel for a single-elimination dance competition. The competition involves 128 dancers aged 8 to 16, with the winner receiving a $10,000 prize. The series is designed for short-form mobile viewing, with episodes lasting between two and four minutes.
