ABC announced that the fifth season of its celebrity quiz show Celebrity Jeopardy! will not debut in the upcoming fall as originally planned. The season has been pushed back to 2027 and is now slated for a mid‑season launch in January or February. Host Ken Jennings is expected to return for the delayed season.

The schedule change removes Celebrity Jeopardy! from the 2025‑2026 fall lineup, allowing Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? to occupy the Wednesday slot beginning October 7. ABC also released new premiere dates for other series, including Dancing With the Stars, 911, Scrubs, Shark Tank, Abbott Elementary, and upcoming mid‑season titles such as The Rookie: North and a new Grey’s Anatomy spinoff.
