ABC develops new crime drama ‘Dive’ with Dwayne Johnson

ABC is developing a new crime drama titled ‘Dive’, set in New Orleans. The series will focus on an elite team of police divers and investigators who solve crimes occurring in the city’s waterways.

The project is in the early stages of development and involves Steven Kane, known for his work as showrunner on ‘Jack Ryan’ and ‘Halo’, alongside 20th Television and Dwayne Johnson’s Seven Bucks Productions. Executive producer Kristina Sorenson is also attached to the project.

Kane has indicated that if the series is successful, it could potentially expand into a larger franchise. While the show is currently in development, no casting has been announced.
