ABC develops new legal drama ‘Con Law’ from Joey Falco

ABC and 20th Television are developing a new original legal drama titled ‘Con Law’. The series is being created by writer and executive producer Joey Falco.

The plot follows a high-powered corporate attorney who is wrongfully convicted of murdering her husband, an event that results in the loss of her career, freedom, and relationship with her daughter. After being exonerated six years later, she joins a Brooklyn-based defense firm. She intends to use her previous experience protecting major corporations to defend individuals vulnerable to exploitation by the legal system, while simultaneously seeking the truth regarding the crime that destroyed her life.

Jordan Cerf will serve as an executive producer for Linden Productions alongside Falco. Falco’s previous credits include work on ‘Sleepy Hollow’, ‘Treadstone’, and ‘Charmed’.
